here is my fathers day writing for 2018.

Kauri art

This is how we did our Kauri art. We made our background with a blue coloured dye. We had to use a grey or white crayon underneath the blue dye to make the clouds to dye over. Next, we made our trunk. We finger painted it. I used brown, black and white for my trunk, then we did the leaves. We used a hard type of paper and ripped bits off and glued them onto the top of our tree trunk to make the leaves. Then we made slogans to glue on our trees to show people what they should be doing to protect Kauri trees.
