We went for a walk and found leaves then we wrote a poem.

Silly Sentences

We have been learning how to write correct sentences. A sentence makes sense on it's own and usually has one simple idea or piece of information. A simple sentence needs a subject and a verb. It needs a capital letter and full stop. We write silly sentences and chose our favourite to illustrate.

The monkey pounced through the green grass

The parrot bolted under my chair!!!

The dolphin swam in a bowl of jelly.

The goat jumped in the watering hole.

The cricket crawled under my bed.

Going to the beach

Splash! The waves hit the rocks when we just arrived. I jumped onto my surfboard and then I flew inside the huge huge wave. We went on a boat fishing out at sea. After that I went climbing the bumpy rocks under a huge coconut palm tree. What I did after that was building sand castles. After all of that I went swimming in the freezing deep scary water.
